Ingredients
- 1 cup soya, coconut or almond milk
- 2-3 tbsp. cold-pressed extra virgin flaxseed oil or coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. lecithin granulate (especially if you’re stressed or have trouble sleeping)
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- Tiny pinch of vanilla powder
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. pure whey protein powder
- ½ banana
- 100g frozen berries
Method
Add all ingredients to an electric blender and blend until the consistency is similar to a milkshake, yogurt or soft ice cream. You can play around with the ingredients in this smoothie: orange zest and juice, fresh ginger, frozen banana, frozen mango, peanut butter, avocado, oat milk and pineapple are all ingredients I often substitute or add. The most important ingredients are the protein powder and the oil.
